I found these documents from a few years back. It's a difficult read, but it looks like Amazon was the plantiff and tried to get VPLM to drop all everything? It reads that Amazon tried to say that old patents covered everything that VPLM claimed to have invented, but the courts found that the old patents were not detailed enough to prove that. It looks like VPLM tweaked VoIP technology and made it much better?
