In the real world it seems rare to have a conversation about damn near anything without politics coming into it.

This is true and we are greatly diminished because of it.

Look, it is clear that the new rules have been under consideration for a long time (almost 5 years based on Shelly's earlier comment). I can also understand iHub's desire to make it seem to users that they had some kind of input rather than just announcing the new rules.

But hey, I'm an old(er) guy. I've seen a lot and am pretty good at seeing through the fog.

Please, just tell us what you propose for the new rules. We can handle it. THEN I can make my decision. Simple.
