Nvidia is so far ahead of the competition when it comes to AI. Jensen himself says they have been working on accelerated computing for 15 years. AMD is just now starting on their first AI chip and that is probably with Microsoft’s money. Not only that it isn’t the chip it’s the system, software stack, networking links, the whole nine yards. The GPU is taking over as the CPU will become general purpose. That doesn’t bold well for Intel or AMD for that matter. If they do figure it out in a few years Nvidia will be 3-4 generations ahead.
