I can't explain the discrepancy, I can only tell you what we've been told. There are definately doctors using the product now, although penetration is slower than everyone would like. I don't know where the UK IBM guy got his info, but it's so disparate with what's happening.
From everything I can find out, and my friend can find out and info I've got by calling the states, the picture I get is this. The company started, floundered (which is when most of the longterms got trapped in) and is now recovering. They have had so much historical shit to sort out (left over from TB and co) that they've been wading up to their necks in it.
My opinion is that they tried to manage our expectations by telling us what we wanted to hear. When that didn't work (and in some cases left them in a bigger hole) they then were quite straightforward with us. However, some people didn't like that either so they just shut down comms. I'm with you in hoping they reverse that decision quite soon, as we need to hear more.
Do I think it's got a chance? I think with a 15c211 and a market maker onboard, working for the share price rather than against it then it might recover. Will it pop in 24 hours and we'll all be millionaires? Unlikely.
Can we help it? Yes. Give them constructive feedback (they have acted on input recently), stop crapping from a great height in public (the only way this will really climb is if it attracts new investors, which this place certainly doesn't) and if they sort out these next couple of hurdles maybe they can get to the point of issuing us some dividends.
I think once the 15c is in we really need them to get to the point where they can lay off the 504s. That for sure isn't helping us at all. But you have to admit, they act more like a proper company now than they have ever done before.
I hope it does recover enough for you to get your investment out and enjoy your retirement fella, and maybe, in time, have enough for an extra bottle of scotch. In fact, if they can pull it together, I'll even shout you a bottle of finest single.
For me it's all about the next month. After that, who knows?
