Don, A couple good books that start you at the very begining are by Toni Turner. A beginner's guide to day trading online, and a beginner's guide to short-term trading. Both are inexpensive around $15, then you may want to get Trading for a Living by Dr. Alexander Elder, my personal favorate although it is a little more expensive around $70 but well worth it.

I'm sure there are many good ones out there but these are a few that I've read and can say that was worth the money.
