I did go through the sign up process just to see what would happen, and there is at least 1 problem. The second street address is a required field which makes no sense.
The message I got back was that they couldn’t verify my eligibility and customer service would “reach out”. What’s funny is I probably qualify. Due to my large cash position I have intentionally recognized my gains in retirement accounts and have very little invested in my taxable accounts other than some K1 stuff with non-taxable distributions so my official income is very low. I’m youngish, retired, and apparently qualify for Medicaid as well although I’m sure as hell not doing that. The entire country is a hot mess of graft, laziness, and totalitarian ideology rebranded as safety and freedom.
