Simple common sense way to beat AI manipulation of you're children's voices calling you to ask for ransom on said children for whatever reason. A long time ago we set up a simple password verbally only that my children and we know. If that word comes across in any way it means danger something is wrong and it means it is them on the phone and not some robot or other. No one knows this word but our immediate family only. So if a message from one of our children came into us in their voice via some phone call and that word is not used as the very first word on the message we know it is phony and a scam. Simple and it ends there.
