Lest anyone begins to believe that the Amazon settlement may result in a lackluster result, think on this: I would bet my best dollar that directly after the settlement is finalized and announced, the other willful zillionaire infringers will know with perfection that the Waco court will most definitely be apprised of Amazon's admission of "guilt." Thus, to avoid a hostile court environment that will soon be home to a VPLM win against Amazon, if they were of sound mind I believe the infringers will more than likely come running to the table to settle. They may even be preparing offers of appeasement at this moment. So yes, the Amazon settlement is huge, even if it may not bring in huge dollars. So remember that there is a life after Amazon, and I believe that's where the real action will take place.
