Update on Florida Illegal Pizza property case:

https://www.browardclerk.org/Web2/CaseSearchECA/CaseDetail/?caseid=MTE4Njc1NzY%3d-KnmC2OtbWOg%3d&caseNum=CACE23000798&category=CV&accessLevelCodeOUT=ANONYMOUS&ato=D

May 9 (today): Notice of Filing, where the filing is an "Abatement Agreement" (see the 1 page PDF, which you can do for free; extra details cost $).

The filing says it went into effect May 3.

The case isn't closed, but I will guess that that agreement brings the case one step closer to being closed. That fits the interpretation of the previous step -- notice of cancellation of a deposition -- as evidence of coming to terms.

An abatement agreement when rent is involved is some sort dispensation against paying rent for a period of time, usually used in advance to make a property attractive to a new tenant.

Perhaps this is a retroactive agreement (good for tax purposes, at least).
