Nobody “knows” for sure whether Kim’s scamming everyone yet it seems the most plausible scenario based on his behavior and actions. But, to answer your question, “Because there’s still a chance”. There’s a remote possibility that Lam Dong might produce viable, salable silk before the end of Q4, and the DOD proposal came out of left field so that’s another possible route to revenue. Those two possibilities combined with Kim’s MO/ineptitude/what have you, add up to only four cents right now. If either pans out - with long term revenue - the pps goes up. If neither pans out, Kim either closes up shop and retires or there’s another round of dilution, in which case the pps goes sub-penny or something close to it. In sum, if KBLB achieves ongoing revenue from silk sales, it goes over a dollar - without revenue, bubkus.
