He stated R & D are no longer a necessary means to bring product to market...

Yet there they go, research and developing the quest for more robust silkworms.

A point in history KBLB management wishes could be taken back.


What it means is that nothing more needs to be done before the company scales up production and sells product. That’s what it meant then.

The fact that scale and sale didn’t happen means the statement was wrong. I don’t think it was deliberate, but it was still wrong. The company was not ready for ‘scale and sale’ in 2013/2014 time frame. We know that because they still haven’t accomplished ‘scale and sale’ even today.
