Pittsburgh, PA—March 17th, 2023 -- Gourmet Provisions International Corporation (OTCPK:
GMPR) announces they will no longer be pursuing the acquisition of Black Rock Florida locations. The
company has been diligently working on finalizing a deal with local ownership for 18+ months, they
have agreed to terms, signed documents, acquired the necessary capital to close acquisition but after
recently speaking with corporate and complete due diligence, GMPR believes it is in the best interest
of the company and its shareholders to no longer attempt to facilitate the acquisition. During a recent
phone conversation with corporate Black Rock the company was told they do not believe it is in the
best interest of Black Rock or GMPR to acquire majority interest in Florida BR locations for various
reasons, with the main discussion focused on the company’s proximity to the proposed acquisition
locations. During the discussions with corporate BR the opportunity of future ownership of new
locations & territories was discussed.
