I find it fascinating that the COURT chose the words it did.

The court could have just said the 2 companies requested a joint stay for 45 days.
But that would've led some to speculate NEGATIVELY.

Instead, they added the words that an agreement "in principle" HAS been reached and the stay is for the purpose of avoiding future litigation expenditures.

The COURT seems to have gone out of its way to make it very CLEAR that this is nothing but POSITIVE.
I can't imagine they would have posted that if they had any doubt that a settlement was coming.

Hey DB... looks like "VPLM is in the best position ever!!"

JOINT MOTION TO STAY
Plaintiff VoIP-Pal.com, Inc. and Defendants Amazon.com, Inc., Amazon.com Services LLC, and Amazon Web Services, Inc. jointly move the Court to stay the proceeding and all deadlines for forty-five (45) days. The Parties have reached an agreement in principle to resolve all issues in the case. The Parties wish to stay the case to avoid further expenditure of the Court’s and Parties’ resources on upcoming deadlines.
For the foregoing reasons, the Parties respectfully request that the Court grant this motion and stay the proceeding for forty-five (45) days.
