What caused yesterday

I've not seen any info on what actually caused 4x normal volume and that much selloff at these lows. Shorts closing out positions? Retail panic selling? Both?

If anyones got additional info or link to info would be appreciated. Needless to say I bought another 1k shares at 5.7 lol
