For a forward split if it were 10:1 does that mean for every share I have I get ten?


You actually have contradictory labeling here... a forward split would be 1:10 (not 10:1) which means you would receive 10 shares for every current share you own and the new shares would have 1/10 the value of the original shares. If you started with 100 shares you would end up with 1000 of the new shares. Forward splits are usually bullish

ABML is contemplating a reverse split which would be 10:1 which means that 10 of your current shares would be replaced by 1 future share which (in theory) should have 10 times the value of your previous shares. If you started with 100 shares you would end up with only 10 of the new shares. Reverse splits tend to be bearish and attempt to counteract previous dilution
