So much conjecture in that post. I won't be on the bleeding edge, but I currently plan to treat myself before Christmas.

VOS + the BROWAN’S PRISM Wi-Fi 6 modern it will connect to = the failover feature of SkiQ. I find that very interesting. But, I was invested for SkiQ in 2018, so I know the history of failure and I acknowledge the risk. I'm personally wishing Tri Cascade good luck and hope that they have success in 2023. IMO, they must have success in 2023 to survive into 2024.

If VOS works as advertised, and is available as communicated, price won't matter, there will be a market. Nothing said here, good or bad will impact the demand. But the product and the service needs to work flawlessly, and the product needs to be available for immediate purchase.
