Lots of people go out for lunch even though food is provided. The restaurants of downtown SD are a magnet since you can see them all day through those tall glass windows. Its one of my favorite convention centers with the hotels, SD nightlife and the harbor all around it. People love the SD convention experience. Park your car and forget about it until its time to go home.
