Why are people surprised by this recent financing move? After the SPACtacular failure of the GXII deal, it was totally expectable that they would desperately need a cash infusion very soon. Did people really think they had a grand plan B up their sleeves to prevent further dilution at this low share price level? If we needed any further proof that all the talk about multiple financing options and competitive tension was pure BS, the catastrophic SPAC deal was the final proof that should have opened everyone’s eyes. It is now glaringly obvious that government money is the only viable path to financing. IMHO
