It's pretty basic. The OTC is a speculation engine driven by the balance between unprofitable startups anchored with toxic funding and small time traders looking to time news pops and momentum rushes. Right now there is a catastrophic shortage in buyers and the toxic notes are dragging everything into oblivion....across the board.
