I trade with Banc of America and yes it's true you can only buy 100k shares at a time, but there's a catch.

If you call them and let them know what your buying ie a penny stock they will clear that trade for more than 100k shares...They need to check the value of the trade before you can buy it. I have done it 3 times and all 3 times I had to call and tell them what I was buying and when they see, b/c of micro penny value, that it really doesn't amount to a whole lot of money they let it go through...

Just a thought...everyone has there own thresehold for BS stuff when it comes to each trading company...

Overall I have found there service to be very good...
