I agree the APES in 2021 should have allowed AA to dilute the shares and pay off the debt. I foolishly was one of those APES that voted NO for dilution because we all were expecting AMC to run to $200 or $300 like GME did so easily. I like many AMC APES were enticed to get into AMC for it to do A GME like short squeeze which never happened. in the subsequent months the shorts pulled the rug and tanked the stock to where it is now.
In hindsight looking at the way AMC ran up to $72 was NOT by retail loading up a few thousand shares each but by MMs and option MMs running up the stock. I think Ken Griffen planned it all because he knew many new shareholders like you and I got COVID stimulus money from the government and we would be an easy catch in their AMC baited net. Once they got enough suckers like you and I caught (holding AMC shares) they pulled the rug with their nefarious computers to manipulate the price back down to single digits. It was a Citadel trap to get all the dumb newbie APEs caught in this web of money for the shorts.
I watched the AMC ticker and never seen it move so fast as it did then. Only a high powered computer trading millions of trades per second could cause such a move up of the AMC stock. 4 million new retail shareholders can not move the AMC price so fast. By simply putting in manual buy orders. It was rigged then to trap us in and it is rigged now to trap us in losses and drive AMC to bankruptcy. This lawsuit is another nefarious act by Ken Griffin to save himself and many of his short buddies holding billions of shorted AMC shares created from their Naked Shorting Machines.
Their plan now is to starve AMC of cash into bankruptcy. By running out the clock of doing any dilution to pay the Bill's with the lawsuit as the tool to a accomplish that.
Those APES who support delaying the settlement now are doing the shorts work for them.
