The market saw through that illusory reported quarterly profit a while back. As pointed out by multiple analysts and commentators the financials were legally manipulated to produce the profit. But any time a company like GME delays and holds significant financial obligations and vendor payments to push them over into the next quarter in order to reduce reported costs to put a gloss on the one quarterly report, that comes back to haunt them and causes problems in the next quarter and other quarters going forward.
