The fact that Spiber is able to make a fiber that exceeds high-end fabrics in their look and feel suggests that Spiber is not churning out fibers made from all of the yeast proteins as you argue.

Fact? Look and feel? these are not objective measurable parameters. Simply, anyone can say something "feels" better because it is totally subjective. This is why you never hear Spiber say anything about their fibers "exceeding" mechanical properties of dragline spider silk (let alone from what species). Instead, you get a hodgepodge of adjectives that are completely meaningless because they are not measurable. It's the equivalent of verbal diarrhea. At least Kraig Labs has disclosed the tensile strength of their dragon silk ( over 2.0 GPa), which exceeds that of even the strongest known dragline silk (darwins bark spider at 1.6 GPa).

The way something "looks" and "feels" is completely subjetive.
