The product is great but there are headwinds for the company
a) space on the belt. - certainly in the early days there was feedback that officers had too many items already and were not going to give up their guns, cuffs radio or taser.
b) single product - as the founder found with taser you can't make a profit even with the selling of more consumables. They had to buy Axon cameras to have a business model. I was surprised when he founded BolaWrap - I guess he knows it is a better solution than taser - but now he has left may be the new team can find a suitable partner.

The frustrations you have are the same we saw with Taser in the early days and then even with Axon cameras - my local PD are only just getting their cameras.
