You make an excellent point that the BS they're trying to pull with U.S. coinage is a result of the fiat money priinting that's INFLATING the cost of the coin metals. So true, but they won't admit that fact. All the more reason to stay away from buying anything the U.S. mint is or will be coining. Those silver Eagles they make could in the not-too-distant future be only 75% silver.

Keith has been saying for years that a silver shortage is coming. If anyone should know it would be him. We may see shortages in a number of metals that are either required for monetary us or industrial use, like nickel with the EV batteries.
