Hi sab. We may not hear the final decision on the new codes until Aug / Sept ( just my guess )

.The company has a new technology add-on payment for inpatient use of its systems. But that ends on Sept. 30, about the same time the newer codes could go into effect.

The PE for SWAV is now around 45 ( according to Yahoo ) . So some would consider the stock richly priced at current levels .
Re your lower extremities . I'd refer U to a post on this board made several years ago

Kiwi...

The procedure went very smoothly..Swav to the Right Popliteal artery. I had a previous procedure A low pressure ballon on the same artery and the artery re-thrombosed the night after the procedure with no therapeutic improvement...

The cardiologist who did the first procedure..told me there was no reason to try Swav as the there was no distal run-off...A month later and I am able to walk three miles or as long as I want with no claudication...

JL is a retired surgeon and I think knows Dew.
IVL is far safer IMHO then atherectomy and often stenting is not required after patency has been improved .
I'd check the roll out in Japan . The Japanese do not like stents so it's thought that many there will opt for the IVL treatment only ...to improve blood flow .
Good luck
