This shows the amount of graphite used in EV batteries (for 60 kWh) and other materials, depending on three types of cathodes (NMC811 or NCA or LFP).
In all of three types of batteries, the graphite is contributing the most weight.
This is why SINANODE is key for affordable EVs, because the manufacturing process decreases significantly the amount of graphite used AND at the same time reduce the costs and increase the charging speed, while leveraging the OEMs supply chains in each regions.
