It is a stong possibility that PETER could have ended up being that such person.
why? It was Peter that the Lord prayed for AND.......
at one point even said GET THE BEHIND ME SATAN- TO(WARD) PETER HIMSELF.
JESUS- I PRAY FOR THEE BECAUSE THE DEVIL SEEKS TO SIFT YOU LIKE WHEAT.

The scripture says whoa to that man whom the son of God is betrayed, I do not think that Judas was predestined for that "role" persay.
That would almost be assuming that God *choose at least ONE person to go to hell.
That make John3:16 NULL AND VOID AND MAKE GOD A LIAR.
On those simple/logical grounds alone, it is better to say that he was not chosen AS the son of perdition. But fell into this condemnation that is.
