My post had NOTHING to do with……

treasure exploration, whatever that means, it had to do with right to title, and Spain’s position on the matter.

I know your old school understanding of treasure exploration is out-of-date so I'll just say that times they are a changin'.

The US/Spain agreement put in place on President Clinton’s last day in office is still a matter of US policy, and Spain knows that. It’s not out-of-date.

The post I responded to suggested if something was found at Melbourne and it was proven to be from a sunken Spanish vessel, Spain would strike a deal, which is beyond absurd. That podcast I linked was Spain’s attorney addressing the fallacy of claims about there being a difference between a merchant vessel and a warship. He also explain ALL Spanish wrecks were protected under Sovereign Immunity per the US/Spain aforementioned agreement.

The recent in- house promo videos have shown the folks at Legacy may be raising capital to fund this clown show, but they’re clueless about salvage law.

Good luck at Juno. It’s all yours. Spain’s attorney knows it’s grandfathered.

Are any museums interested in displaying the worm poop?

I got a feeling it will be talked about by SFRX for the next several years while nothing of value is found, not even a trinket.
