Steve - An increase in short interest is usually not a good thing for a stock.

I understand LONGS Dumping their Dog shares to pay for their taxes; that has pushed the share price down, but that hasn't added to the short rolls. This is a much more troubling development.

Investors betting that PLUG's share price will fall even further is a sign of No Confidence.

I have no direct information, but I suspect some are shorting because the Shorts believe May's Q will be yet another PLUG MISS.

Our CEO is famous / infamous for over-promising and under-delivering, and if this happens AGAIN, then the share price could easily hit the $7.00's or even lower.
