Hweb- Like to get your view
While I understand waning inflation is positive, how in the world can investors totally ignore slumping corporate earnings expected over the next few quarters, and keep pumping the markets ? I mean waning inflation is good for the economy, but bad for corporate pricing power. So corporate earnings are expected to keep falling with interest rates higher for longer, plus waning inflation will hurt corporate revenues- like a double whammy for corporate earnings. Hweb, that's why I continue to believe that we're still in a bear market, and we've been experiencing one of the longest bear market rallies in some time. My feeling is that if corporate earnings guidance for the June qtr is below expectations, the markets will finally turn and correct. What do you think ?
