Like mankind explained in one of his posts, institutional investors would not touch anything under $5.00, much less anything under $1.00, perfect examples of a reverse split that took place was a 10/1 SGM*L was a former OTC then debut on Nasdaq, look at the timeline and look at the chart, another example is ATL*X, but this one was bigger reverse split 100/1 and it debut on Nasdaq from OTC, look at the timeline and chart also, SGM*L already has small float and it has garnered so much attention with institutional investors, however, I disagree about 24-25 range rhetoric that presented to the board, the price is there because of one reason and one reason only, no merger news and no buyers, I believe wholeheartedly in a reverse split of 10/1, they will need to price higher if they have big guns like Citigroup leading the pack. 10/1 is very reasonable, this way they cover their bases and with shareholder equity, assuming we are trading right around 1.20-1.30 before the merger then list on the Nasdaq exchange at tad bit above 10 dollars, enough cushion just in case of short attack and enough to wash out the penny flippers and enough to get institutional backing. It has nothing to do where the price is currently, with limited volume, this is where it belongs, what if 3 million volume pops out of no where in a single day or a span of 30 trading sessions, we don't want to blame the price being where it is because market makers know there is pending reverse split, if the volume was high and the price stayed that range, then one could assume that is a possibility. My thoughts are 1.20 before the merger and a 10/1 reverse split, to wash out the penny flippers and get their guys in before the merger consummates and list on Nasdaq and let baby run baby. Remember one thing, IHUB doesn't run the show in this arena, it's the hedges and institutions that run it, along with the help of retail heavy hitters. Market will speak in due time if and when this comes to fruition.
