“Why hasn’t kb told us more about the new robust worms? Shareholders want to know!”

It takes 6-8 weeks per generation. They need at least 3 generations of the 2 pure lines before it would even be worthwhile to cross them to produce the robust hybrid worms. First generation or 2 of hybrid worms would probably be raised at Prodigy before sending to GSS to see how they do. So there is no way KBLB could know now how their robust hybrid worms are doing yet. Would be at least another 3 months before they do. It’s takes a lot more coordination to raise hybrids than purebreds. The two pure lines might mature at different rates adding to the complexity.

Any meaningful news coming out about robust hybrids in the next couple months could only be for a failure of some sort. The positive meaningful numbers won’t be there until at least July. So for right now, no news is good news, I think.
