This means shares of SING common stock are no longer subject to limitations associated with “penny stocks” (stocks selling for less than $5.) National broker/dealers can now recommend SING to their clients, which previously was not allowed, increasing significantly the pool of potential investors. Also selling a “penny stock” involved so much paperwork that it was the rare brokerage, if any, that would sell a “penny stock.”. I’m sure we’ll see some increased volume (eventually) due to this change.
