Still too many "damn shorts"?

SPX technicals

SPX is still trapped inside the big range, but note we are close to that magical 4150 resistance. There is the big negative trend line that has been in place since August highs, as well as the short term channel that has been in place since March lows. Time to break out of this trapped situation sooner than later...
