I would tend to agree about the shoe in if everything the CEO has led his investors to believe is infact true.

IMO, If the company made even just a single silkworm that produced a fiber with a tensile strength of 1.79-2.0+ GPa (which is actually better than the best spider silks), then the DOD will grant KBLB money to try and figure out how to make it domestically. I think that's a pretty low bar to pass. The whole point of this DPAI RFI is to give companies the opportunity to figure out domestic production, not to give money to companies who already produce enough domestically.
