Sheeeeesh! I disagree. If anything the APES screwed AA and the entire company. AA has worked very hard to shepherd the company through COVID and everything else. The fact of the matter is that the APES and reddit/stonk crowd bear the responsibility and the fault for where the company is today. Back in mid-2021 when AMC shares had been manipulated up to ridiculo0us share prices in the $40-$50 range, AA widely asked shareholders for the approval for more AMC common shares. AMC could have sold a relatively small number of new common shares with limited dilution at those inflated prices to raise capital and pay down or off a huge portion or all of AMC's debt at those inflated prices. But the APES went crazy and stupidly launched a huge social media and overall campaign against the issuance of more common shares and there was no share sale at those very high prices to retire debt and raise capital. Had the APES and the reddit/stonk crowd have not been so unreasonable and short-sighted, AMC would never have had to issue the Preferred APE dividend as the workaround, and we would not be here today going through the conversion and the RS. APES have no one to blame but themselves. SMFH
