The overall market is being propped up. Most businesses realize that and are not looking to expand at the moment. In fact, many big corporations are laying off thousands of workers because they know what is coming. So its definitely not a good environment to be launching into a new direction.

I agree that Kidren is likely trying to spin this into some sort of a smaller victory. The timing on those efforts is not good right now, with current market conditions.
