Whichever way this patent case turns out, Mucinex is the best cough suppressant I have ever taken. When I got sick on my recent trip to Asia and my head cold inevitably changed to a cough, the tablets I took once per day completely stopped my cough in its tracks. Normally I would have had several days of misery for which no OTC suppressant would have been more than marginally effective.
