Your interpretation of being dark is wrong.

Dark or Defunct is just a classification. The "dark" part indicates the company is no longer providing financial information to the public. "defunct" speaks for itself.

Trading on the Expert Market restricts buying. As far as I know, no one in the US can buy an Expert Market ticker. Canuckleheads however can, I understand.

You can lead a horse to water. But you can't make him get down on one knee and do an Al Jolson impression!
