Minimum you suggest that if Basilea tested any "stuff" from Ipix and rejected it then all Ipix "stuff" must be bad and worthless.
We do not know 100% that the stuff rejected by Basilea was from Ipix. But I think probably it was.
Here is the announcement when Ipix/Ctix bought the bankrupt Polymedix.
https://www.ipharminc.com/press-release/2016/11/16/cellceutix-acquires-polymedix-assets-from-bankruptcy-court-gains-ownership-of-two-clinical-stage-drugs-multiple-compounds-and-equipment-assets
They did not say "Good news!! We bought Brilacidin and other very important compounds that may be super valuable."
They said only "Good news!! We bought Brilacidin." They called Brilacidin the "flagship drug" from Polymedix. It is clear the other Polymedix compounds were only riding on the boat and part in the deal to buy everything. I think Ipix and Polymedix and Mr. Jorgensen knew the other compounds were not probably valuable or important. It is why one or some were licensed to Fox Chase where Mr. Jorgensen went to work after Polymedix.
And finally Fox Chase found someone to test these compounds that did not have Ipix interest. Basilea did testing and confirmed what Ipix believed when they bought Polymedix. The other stuff that came along on the deal boat with Brilacidin was not much good. There was a reason Brilacidin was the "flagship" bought from Polymedix. Other independent reportage on the Ipix deal spoke only of Brilacidin and never the other stuff Ipix bought. Google search "Cellceutix buys Polymedix" and read. Everyone then and now knew Brilacidin was the only valuable thing bought from Polymedix. For USD$2.1 million cash plus 1.4 million Ctix shares and zero Polymedix debt.
In fact Basilea spent their own money and time to confirm what Ipix and Mr. Jorgensen knew. Ipix did not have to spend a penny of their money to find out if the other "stuff" from the Polymedix deal had potential. In fact Ipix received a wee money from Fox Chase for Basilea to confirm this. This seems pretty smart for Ipix.
And in fact Brilacidin may be a Master Antifungal as you say. In fact it appears Brilacidin can be a Master of many maladies.
