SIVBQ is the holding company. They have several subs under them that operate at a profit. They filed BK to protect those subs.

SVB Financial Group, a diversified financial services company, offers various banking and financial products and services. It operates through four segments: Silicon Valley Bank, SVB Private, SVB Capital, and SVB Securities.

It's possible they could come out of BK relatively intact. Before they filed BK they were trading over $100.

Just about all banks today operate as a sub of the holding company so if the bank fails the holding company may survive. lol.
