of course. the Amazon thing is just old news. like i said from an expense/financial stand point why would a company like Amazon who have streaming service want to buy a physical movie location where they will have to spend money to fix and hire employee and try to sell ticket to make money. Depending on the location those theater might not even make much money at all. Amazon will just end up wasting more money for upkeep than what they can gain from a physical theater to whereas streaming online with subscription base, whether the viewer watch a lot or not they still end up paying the monthly subscription and in term Amazon is making that passive income. There is no passive income from a physical theater, if you can't sell tickets, you are not making money and the less ticket you sell, the less money you get.
