Mighty, it is intended for the market where retro is prized over the (as an example) the Indian Chieftan or the Ducati.
This vehicle serves the purpose of the market they are targeting. Having been to China several times on business, electric bikes (scooters especially) are not high end stylish with latest designs. They are practical. This is the market they are going for with this look/design.

That said, given that I work at a company that produces vehicles, I would not go to production and then test. You start with concept vehicles, then development vehicles, validation vehicles, then you start with production intent vehicles...the testing begins with development vehicles to gain knowledge/understanding of strengths/weaknesses and you make changes needed in your validation vehicles...then you test that limited number and then move to a production intent for further testing.
Maybe that's what they have done, but going straight to production and then performing testing is not the right path.

I love this company, so don't get me wrong. I just want growth, continued growth, with ZERO setbacks.
