Adler, who won an Emmy Award along with fellow engineer Eugene Polley for the device that made the couch potato possible, died Thursday of heart failure at a Boise nursing home at 93, Zenith Electronics Corp. said Friday.
They forgot to add that he was reaching over for the remote, lost his balance & hit his head on the end of the coffee table killing him instantly...those damn remotes are not only dangerous but I suspect the leading cause of divorce...at least he lived most of his life remote-free...
