Question to those using Interactive Brokers, do they restrict your trading on a thinly traded holding and say you might be an affiliate of the company? Happens to me occasionally, but more so recently. Have to email them and say "No I'm not an affiliate" and they lift the restriction. But I'm getting tired of the hassle. Never had this problem with Fidelity, Schwab, etc and I've been doing this 25 years. Going to transfer my account next week. Unless someone has found a way around this?
