It could very well be that you are correct here and Tim Howard is a victim of his overly optimistic predictions regarding actions by the Biden administration. Howard IMHO falsely assumes wise foresight on the part of the government, and preemptive action. Instead, Sandra orders donuts.

The GSEs are of NO interest to the government whatsoever. It will do what it needs to do to shore up the banking industry, with total disregard for the GSEs. Just watch.
