You would think the drug would have some value to a company with an existing CV sales force. It’s a tough sell though going against statins w decades of safety and efficacy. I changed from Lipitor to Crestor bc of cramps and am doing fine. I would probably take nexletol if I couldn’t tolerate any statin but I would try and get a PCSK9 first
