Thanks for taking a walk in the memory lane on WAMU. The reason I posted the q on this board is because i see lot of parallels between then and now and was wondering if there is an investment opportunity.

If you buy the preferred of these embattled regional bank stocks now (like First Republic, PacWest, SVB, Signature, etc.) .......is there money to be made if you hold it through the crisis. What lessons learned from 2008 crisis can be applied now?
