IMO - if the bank has assets - at current market value to pay off 90% of deposits depositors then what is the fuss
That's the problem with bank runs, banks hold relatively safe assets but aren't designed to have depositors withdrawal greater than 25% of their deposits (bank liabilities) all in a very short time period.
I heard Old Man Potter is offering 50 cents on the dollar for deposits at the Bailey S&L
